Charlie is 1 year old and weighs 9 pounds. He appears to be a Pekingese Terrier mix. He loves to curl up in a lap and be next to his person, but he also loves to play—with humans, toys, and other dogs. Charlie has separation anxiety and cannot be put in a wire crate at all. The ideal home for him is one where someone is home at least part of the day and where there is another small dog to keep him company. Charlie is doing well with his house training but will need reinforcement when changing households. Charlie will not be adopted to a home with children under the age of 12 or a dog weighing more than 25 pounds. His adoption donation is $175, and he is being fostered in Huntsville, Alabama. We do approve out of state adoptions, but you must be willing to drive to the foster home to “fetch” your new family member. We do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting this sweet baby, the first step is to submit an APPLICATION.
We do not place any dog in a home with “invisible” or underground fencing.
