FCDF helps the Greater Birmingham Area in tough economic times.

BIRMINGHAM, AL) In this tough economy, many people have been forced to surrender their pets to shelters as they cannot afford to care for them. While owning a pet involves a financial obligation of proper nutrition and health care, the benefits of pet ownership are so great to both owner and animal, that FCDF obtained a donation of 6 TONS of dog and cat food and supplies to distribute to people in the Greater Birmingham Area.

One of the many services FCDF provides is a pet food deployment program. FCDF takes donated food, transports and distributes to people in the Greater Birmingham Area who have pets and need assistance. Anyone who is helping the pet-overpopulation problem by caring for a spayed or neutered animal and needs the financial support of pet food, can qualify to receive this free assistance from the Foundation by contacting them at webmaster@fcdf.org
