Jasmine was found one day when she just wandered up to us on the sidewalk. From the very beginning she seemed to be domesticated, but we were never able to find anyone that claimed to have lost her.
Though she starts shy, over time she warms up to new people and becomes very affectionate. She has been known to sit in peoples laps and massage them with her tiny paws (which feels very good!). She loves to play with toys that have some kind of long string on them. She never has a problem with her food and always devours all of it at her own pace. As far as we know she gets along with other animals. We have a Boston Terrier and Jasmine gets along just fine with her. They sometimes even sleep up against each other. Jasmine can be very vocal at times, mainly when we go in the kitchen or approach the front door. Other than that, she is very quiet and usually only meows if there is a bug flying around, in which case she is very adept at catching them.
Like most cats she hates getting wet and she will be upset for a while after you cut her nails. She'll sulk under the couch for a while, and then come back out and back to her normal self.
Though we love her, we just can't take care of her anymore and hope to find a cat loving person/family that will welcome this sweet little kitty into their home.
