Mork - Adopted
Mork is a very cute and personable "Chweenie", Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy. He is 5 months old (D.O.B. 10/26/2007 ) and weighs 5 pounds. His mom weighs 6 pounds. Mork has been neutered, is up to date on all his immunizations, and has been started on heartworm preventative. Mork is a little love bug and bonds very quickly with humans and other small dogs. Mork will not be placed in a home with children under the age of 12 or with a dog weighing more than 20 pounds. Mork’s adoption donation is $150, and he is being fostered in Birmingham, Alabama. We do approve out of state adoptions, but only if the adopter is willing to drive to the foster home to "fetch" the new family member. We do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting this sweet baby, please email for an application.

Willard - Adopted
Willard is a Chinese Crested Dog. He is predominantly hairless with just wisps of hair. He was 14 weeks old as of February 6 and weighed 6.1 pounds at that time. We expect that he will be approximately 12 pounds at maturity. Willard's shots are up to date, and he has been neutered and started on heartworm preventative. His new family will be responsible for getting his “big boy booster shot” when he is 4 months old. He is, of course, a baby and will need a loving family to teach him his house manners, including house training and chewing only what is his. We will not place Willard in a home with children under the age of 10 or with a dog weighing more than 20 pounds. We would love for him to go to a home experienced with hairless breeds, or at least to someone who has done research on them and understands their needs. Willard’s adoption donation is $200, and he is being fostered near Chattanooga, Tennessee. We do approve out of state adoptions, but only if the adopter is willing to drive to the foster home to "fetch" the new family member. We do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting this sweet baby, please email for an application.

Shiloh - Adopted
Shiloh is a Maltipoo puppy surrendered to rescue by her previous owners because she needed more attention than they could give her. She is four months old (D.O.B. December 1, 2007 ) and weighs 5.2 pounds. This means that she will probably weigh 10 pounds or less when she is fully grown. Shiloh is up to date on all her immunizations and has been started on heartworm preventative. She is scheduled to be spayed on Thursday, April 10, and we anticipate that she will be ready for her forever home on Saturday, April 12. Shiloh is a calm little girl to be so young, and she loves to cuddle. She is a baby and will need somebody with the patience and love to teach her things like going outside to potty, walking on a leash, and chewing only what is hers. She is making very good progress on her house training. She eats twice a day, morning and evening, and if taken outside immediately afterwards will do both her numbers. She is still a little too young for crate training, so she stays gated into the kitchen with a pad during the day while her foster mom works. She does sleep all night in a crate without having an accident. To come in such a small package, Shiloh is extremely vocal, which is one thing that led to her being surrendered to rescue. She absolutely cannot live in an apartment, condominium, townhome, or anything else with shared walls. She doesn’t make noise often, but when she does, it is so shrill and high pitched that she would certainly bring on an eviction notice. Because of her tiny size, Shiloh will not be placed in a home with children under the age of 12 or with a dog weighing more than 20 pounds. Preference will be given to a home with a stay at home parent, another small dog for companionship, or both. She is too young to be left home alone for an 8 or 9 hour workday. Shiloh ’s adoption donation is $350, and she is being fostered in Birmingham, Alabama. We do approve out of state adoptions, but the adopter must be willing to drive to the foster home to "fetch" the new family member. We do not ship or transport our dogs. Grover - Adopted
Hi! My name is Grover. I am about a year and 3 months old. I am looking for a great home. I love to play and I'm great with kids and all other dogs. Cats don't bother me either; I just go with flow and play with whoever wants to! I am even house broken and crate trained.

I love to cuddle and I sometimes tend to think I'm a lap dog. I know, I'm a little big to be a lap dog, but I just love people so much and want to be close by all the time. I just want to be a part of the family, so I like to play inside just as much as I do outside. I'm very curious about everything, so I tend to stick my nose in whatever you're doing, and I sometimes get excited in new places and around new people and I want to jump to get closer to you, but just tell me to get down and I will. I love to go on walks, and I also love to ride in the car.

CoCo - Adopted
CoCo is approximately 8 months old and is a beautiful gray and white cat with the softest fur. She was the most timid, but has warmed up a lot since I took her in and is becoming a sweet and loving cat. One of her favorite things to do is to race me up the stairs at night. She has been spayed and has had all of her shots for the 1st year.

Jane Darling - Adopted
Jane Darling is a wonderfully kind, sweet little pup. She's young and loves to play in a backyard. She is house-trained and gets along well with other dogs. We're not sure but we think that she is a yellow lab/husky mix.

Jane loves going on walks and is a perfect lady on a leash. She's very smart and easily trained. She likes to greet visitors at the front door and make every one feel welcome. Being a young dog, she needs a fair amount of exercise and doesn't like to be left alone in a house outside of her crate. Fortunately, she is crate-trained likes to cuddle with her toys.

Jane is named after a great lady, Jane Darling, who recently died of cancer.

Sally - Adopted
My name is Sally and I am a female Corgi Mix puppy with floppy ears and I am approximately 8 weeks old. I was found walking in a Church parking lot where a lovely lady picked me up before getting hit by cars. She has taken me to the vet and had my 1st set of shots done and also had me spayed in order to find me a forever home pretty quick. I do have 3 more sets of shots to get. If you are interested please call.
